While I was at the Rob Kells Hang Gliding Competition at the Florida Ridge Air Park, a bunch of us went to go see How to Train your Dragon at the Imax 3D. It was a very cute movie with some awesome flying scenes in it. Check it out if you like to fly!
John Adams HBO Series is EXCELLENT!!! If you want some really good history in a movie type format with awesome actors and actresses, this is what you should watch. This makes you very proud of the history of our country! You HAVE TO WATCH THIS!!!
So Planet 51 is a cartoon movie about a human that visits an alien planet. It is cheesy, but had some good moral principles. Not quite as great as Toy Story, but different that’s for sure. My favorite part was when the two soldiers were in the car and one said, “Well.. zombies don’t feel any pain!” Then they both punch each other.
So, I thought 2012 movie was ok. The graphics in some scenes were really cheesy and in others not so bad. I wasn’t totally thrilled with it at all.
So I went to Camelot Theaters and saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D. I liked the costumes and the movie, but I thought the colors were too dark. It was like the shutter on the movie was not open enough. I think it would have been so much better if the colors were more vibrant and the movie was not as dark. I don’t know if I liked the original or this one more. I did think the 3D was great.
I love Jodie Foster and I finally decided to watch her 2005 movie Flightplan. It was an interesting movie that’s for sure. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t all that great either.
Silence of the Lambs is still my favorite movie with her.
I love Vince Vaughn’s character in Couples Retreat. I thought this was a cute movie and laughed throughout the movie. They made some very important points about relationships that I feel are valuable. Great movie to watch on a relaxing evening.
Touching the Void is an excellent movie based on a true story of a brave Mountaineer. Very touching movie. This movie made a ton of different emotions run through me, inspiration being the strongest one. This movies makes you look at things very differently and puts things into perspective that’s for sure.
I was worn out and exhausted after dealing with midterms so I decided to watch 3:10 to Yuma. It was the perfect movie to watch for a relaxing evening. I really enjoyed this movie. I don’t have a favorite part really, just really liked it.
After many hours of doing homework, I decided to watch Catch Me If You Can.
It was a very long movie, but it kept my interest. I am not particularly a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, but I am a big fan of Tom Hanks. I liked that it was based on a true story and that in the end Frank became a crucial part in society. It is interesting to me how someone strives for years to accomplish the impossible and gains extensive knowledge pertaining to a particular subject and then finds themselves working for the very same people who were out to get them. Very ironic and interesting.
