I was told by a friend to read the Book Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach.  Come to find out, my sister read this book and another one of her four books.  I thought the book was very educational and interesting.  I sure did catch my attention and make me rethink some things.  I think it is worth while to read, but beware there are some gruesome parts.  I am glad I read this book and I am excited about reading her other three books.

Just to give you a little background about Mary Roach…  She is just an average civilian like you and I that was curious about some really random things.  She did extensive research about the topics she was curious about and wrote these books about her discoveries along the way.  Interesting perspective and eye opening.

Her other books include:

1. Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void

2. Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex

3. Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife
